Faridabad, February 21: A 32-year-old woman was shot dead by her husband in broad daylight on Friday outside her residence in Faridabad. The victim, identified as Sangeeta Devi, was reportedly living separately from her husband, Manish, following a prolonged marital dispute.

The incident occurred in the NIT area of the city. According to preliminary police reports, Manish arrived at Sangeeta’s home, leading to a heated confrontation on the street. During the argument, the accused allegedly produced a firearm and fired multiple shots at Sangeeta before fleeing the scene. Neighbors who witnessed the attack rushed her to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.
