According to Pandey, firefighting efforts have been affected by a shortage of water at the site. The factory's water pump was damaged in the fire, forcing fire tenders to return one by one to refill their water tanks before coming back to continue the operation. Fire tenders have been arriving continuously and are engaged in efforts to contain the blaze. Authorities are currently focused on extinguishing the fire and preventing it from spreading further. Pandey said the factory had witnessed a fire earlier this year as well. However, the cause of the latest blaze has not yet been established.
