Gurugram Hit-and-Run Video: Woman Biker Chased, Hit by Car on Golf Course Road

A woman biker in Gurugram has alleged that she was chased and hit by a car while riding on Golf Course Road on Sunday. The impact threw her off her motorcycle, while her Aprilia RS 457 was dragged several metres along the road. The alleged hit-and-run incident was captured on her bike-mounted action camera and later shared on social media.

The rider, who identifies herself as Sia and runs the Instagram page rebelwheels_sia_, said she felt unsafe on Gurugram roads after the incident. She alleged that the occupants of the car had been following her and behaving aggressively before the collision.

According to Sia, she was riding her Aprilia RS 457 with members of her biking group on Golf Course Road when the incident took place. Sia said she asked the occupants to maintain distance but claimed they instead told her to stop her bike. She further alleged that the men appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.

The biker said she continued riding to prevent the car from blocking her path. A friend riding behind her also tried to protect her and stop the car from coming alongside her.

According to her account, the car continued following her before its driver allegedly attempted to cut in front of her motorcycle. Friend Chased Car After Gurugram Hit-and-Run

Sia alleged that one of her friends chased the car after the collision and attempted to stop the driver.

The car reportedly stopped at a traffic signal, where the friend confronted the driver and told him that the crash had been caused by the vehicle. However, according to Sia, the driver denied responsibility and subsequently drove away.

The alleged hit-and-run has since triggered concerns over road safety and aggressive driving on Gurugram roads.

Woman Biker Appeals To Gurugram Police

Following the incident, Sia appealed to the Gurugram Police to take action against the driver. She also referred to the vehicle's registration number and the name of the registered owner in her social media post.

Her video showed the sequence of events and quickly drew attention online, with users calling on the authorities to identify the driver and investigate the alleged hit-and-run.

Social Media Users Demand Action

The video has prompted several social media users to tag Gurugram Police, Gurugram Traffic Police, Delhi Police and Haryana Police. Many users demanded that an FIR be registered and action be taken against the driver.

The incident has also renewed concerns about road safety, rash driving and the behaviour of motorists towards bikers in Gurugram.
