New Delhi, October 14: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) on Saturday launched a new service on its website. The service is named 'AskDisha' (Digital Interaction to Seek Help Anytime) which is a chatbot powered by Artificial intelligence (AI). AskDisha will give people complete information about ticket booking, ticket cancellation, instant ticket booking and other services related to the railways. "The IRCTC Chat Bot AskDisha will offer greatly improved and intuitive customer support by answering customer queries pertaining to all aspects of the services that IRCTC provides. It will support several regional languages and will be voice-enabled and will soon be integrated with the IRCTC android app," IRCTC said in a statement. IRCTC to go? IRCTC also claimed that the AI chatbot is one of its kind in government websites. IRCTC further added some of the Silent features of AskDisha includes 24 * 7 customer query support, quick response time and multitasking.

According to the data, nearly 10 million people daily visit IRCTC for ticketing services. So this feature will help them to get a quick response to queries without making a call to customer care.
