Sopore, May 18: Exchange of firing between security forces and terrorists broke out in Hathlangoo village of Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district on Saturday. According to reports, terrorists hiding in the area open fired on security forces, triggering a gunfight. The area has been cordoned off. The arms and ammunition were also recovered from his possession. However, identity is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, three terrorists were gunned down by security forces in Pulwama district on Saturday. The police said that defence forces started a cordon and search operation during the night in Panzgam village after receiving a tipoff about terrorist presence. According to reports, a gunfight broke out between terrorists and troops of 130 Battalion CRPF, 55 RR and SOG earlier this morning.
