Chennai, December 5: Floral tributes were paid by All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leaders and workers to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on her second death anniversary on Wednesday. Top AIADMK leaders including Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam and Palaniswami, who were seen dressed in black shirts, led a silent march from Anna Salai to Marina beach, where the former AIADMK supremo was laid to rest. AIADMK leaders pay tribute to Jayalalithaa:

Fondly known as 'Amma', Jayalalithaa was laid to rest at Chennai’s Marina beach, next to the memorial of her mentor M.G. Ramachandran (MGR). The last rites of the veteran leader were performed by her close aide, Sasikala. Jayalalithaa was accorded a state funeral and a seven-day state mourning was declared in Tamil Nadu.
