Mumbai, December 8: In one of the biggest news of today,  the fate of the four-month-old BS Yediyurappa led-BJP government in Karnataka will be determined today as the results of the by-polls to 15 Assembly constituencies in the state will be declared today. The bye-elections was held across nine districts after 17 rebel MLAs from the Congress and JD(S) parties defected to the BJP.

The contentious Citizenship Amendment Bill will be introduced in Lok Sabha by Amit Shah today. The bill is listed in the "list of business" in the lower house of the Parliament on Monday. The Narendra Modi-led NDA government is confident of getting the bill passed in the Lok Sabha. However, the Bill will face stiff opposition in the Rajya Sabha.

A complaint was filed on Sunday against Cyberabad police saying that 'the encounter which was carried out by police on December 6 against the four accused who were involved in veterinary doctor's horrific rape and murder case was fake'.
