The investigation is underway to establish the motive behind the killing and determine the roles of the other suspects.

Punjab Crime: Fresh Murder Raises Law and Order Concerns

The Ludhiana murder comes amid a series of violent incidents reported across Punjab in October, triggering renewed concerns over law and order ahead of the state elections scheduled for next year.

On Friday night, a 27-year-old man, Amit Sabharwal, was shot dead outside his home in Amritsar following an argument over moving a parked Honda Activa scooter. Police have registered a murder case against three brothers in connection with the incident.

Last week, anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota was killed in Mansa after confronting a medical store owner over the alleged illegal sale of addictive medicines. The CBI has taken over the investigation into Jhota's murder.

The latest incident has added to concerns over violent crime in the state as police continue their investigation.
