Indore, September 10: A Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) leader has issued a threat to a young woman who was shot on camera dancing in the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain on September 7. In his Facebook post, the BJP leader, Vikas Awasthy has threatened the woman of facing dire consequences for dancing inside the temple. He even announced prize money of Rs 5,00,000 for taking revenge from her.

The video surfaced on social media which showed the young woman clad in a white saree and wearing deep red lipstick. She was making a sensuous dance move inside the temple premises and shaking her leg to Bollywood songs. It had raised the question on security arrangements of the temple.

Administrator of the temple, Abhishek Dubey said that the CCTV footage was being searched to when the video was shot so that the girl could be identified. He said that the action would be taken based on the investigation.  The VHP has also condemned the video. It was not the first time such an incident had taken place. Earlier in March, The authorities of Sri Lingaraj Temple had lodged an FIR against Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon for allegedly shooting an advertisement in the 'No Camera Zone' inside the premises of the 11th-century Shrine of Lord Shiva.
