New Delhi, July 10: Local train services on Harbour line in Mumbai were affected after a CSTM-bound train stopped between Sewri and Cotton Green stations due to a technical problem. The Central Railway, in a tweet, said a team of technicians was deployed to repair the technical snag. Railway Tracks Submerged in Water at Sion and Matunga, Local Trains Delayed.

"Panvel-CSMT Harbour line local held up between Sewri and Cotton Green due to technical problem. Our technical team on the job to restore ASAP. Inconvenience caused is regretted (sic)," Central Railway tweeted. Since the train was stuck, services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) were delayed. Mumbai Local Trains Disrupted on Western Line Due to Technical Glitch at Goregaon Station.

Local train services on Central, Harbour and Western lines were disrupted on Monday after heavy rains lashed Mumbai. Tracks at Ghatkopar, Kanjurmarg, Sion and other stations were waterlogged following a heavy downpour, which led to the suspension of local trains.
