Mumbai, July 25: Mumbai's suburban railway network will operate a scheduled mega block on Sunday, July 26, 2026, affecting services on the Central Line and Trans Harbour Line. The block has been announced to facilitate essential engineering and maintenance works. While some trains will be diverted and delayed on the Central Line, several Trans Harbour services will remain cancelled during the block period. The Harbour Line and Western Line will operate without any scheduled block.
Central Line Mega Block Timings
A mega block will be carried out on the Thane-Kalyan Up and Down fast lines from 10:40 AM to 3:40 PM.
During this period:
- Down fast and semi-fast services leaving CSMT between 9:34 AM and 2:45 PM will run on the Down slow line between Thane and Kalyan.
- These trains will also halt at Kalva, Mumbra and Diva in addition to their regular stops.
- Services are expected to reach their destinations around 10 minutes behind schedule.
Similarly:
- Up fast and semi-fast services leaving Kalyan between 10:28 AM and 3:40 PM will be diverted via the Up slow line between Kalyan and Thane.
- They will halt at Diva, Mumbra and Kalva before being re-diverted near Mulund.

Trans Harbour Line Services Cancelled
A mega block will also be in force on the Thane-Vashi/Nerul Trans Harbour lines from 11:10 AM to 4:10 PM.
During the block:
- Train services between Thane and Vashi, Nerul and Panvel will remain suspended.
- Down services from Thane between 10:35 AM and 4:07 PM will remain cancelled.
- Up services towards Thane from Panvel, Nerul and Vashi between 10:25 AM and 4:09 PM will also remain cancelled.
Harbour, Uran and Western Lines
No mega block has been scheduled on the Harbour Line, Uran Line or Western Line. Services on these routes are expected to operate as per the regular timetable.
Passengers travelling on Sunday are advised to check the latest train updates before starting their journey and plan accordingly due to diversions, delays and cancellations.
