‘Red Suits You’: 2 DU Law Students Held Over Alleged Harassment of Women in Delhi (Video)

The two arrested students have been identified as Abhinav and Abhimanyu, both students of DU's Faculty of Law. The incident reportedly took place on Wednesday night when the two women were walking near Hakikat Park.
What Happened in Mukherjee Nagar?
According to the police complaint, the women were walking towards Old Gupta Colony around 9.30 pm when a white SUV allegedly approached them. 2 Law Students Held Over Alleged Stalking in Mukherjee Nagar
When one of the women objected and asked the men not to misbehave, the occupants allegedly became aggressive and started abusing them.

According to the woman's account, the occupants allegedly attempted to push the students inside the vehicle. Her friend then took out her phone to record the incident, following which the SUV allegedly drove away.
Police Action and SUV Challans
Following the complaint, Mukherjee Nagar police registered a case under BNS Sections 78 (stalking), 79 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 3(5) (common intention) against unknown persons.
Police later traced the SUV to a parking area in Bhalswa Dairy in outer Delhi. The vehicle reportedly has at least 18 pending challans amounting to INR 33,000, with most reportedly related to speeding and the use of tinted glass.
Police have apprehended Abhinav and Abhimanyu, while efforts are underway to locate the third suspect, Naman.
