The forceful and rapid deployment of the airbag struck the man with massive impact. The severity of the blow resulted in major trauma and critical injuries, causing the victim to suffer fatal blood loss before medical personnel could reach him or provide emergency aid. Preliminary investigations revealed that despite the vehicle being a decade and a half old, official regional transport records indicate it still held a valid fitness certificate at the time of the accident.
