Angry locals eventually caught hold of him and thrashed him before the matter was reported to the police, who arrived at the spot and managed to bring the situation under control. According to information received by ABP Live, the Italian tourist first began creating trouble at the Saptasagar mandi in Maidagin before entering people's homes and harassing residents. Locals who witnessed the chaos retaliated and beat him up, though some bystanders intervened to pull him away and save him from further harm.
