According to Congress leaders, women workers gathered outside the party office to protest Ranaut's remarks and attempted to burn an effigy during the demonstration.

Congress Demands Apology
The protesting Congress workers alleged that Kangana Ranaut's remarks were insulting to women and daughters across the country.
They demanded that the BJP MP issue a public apology, while also accusing the BJP of claiming to support women's empowerment while allowing such remarks to go unchallenged.

Following criticism over her remarks, Kangana Ranaut shared a video message on Instagram on Wednesday addressing the controversy. In the video, she criticised sections of the media and what she described as "so-called feminists" over the reaction to her comments. She also stressed the importance of civic sense and cultural decorum in society.
Ranaut said there is no place for vulgarity and that those unwilling to maintain decorum should remain confined to their rooms. She further stated that some children consider Prime Minister Narendra Modi their elder during examinations, while others see him as their leader, idol or even God, adding that people's sentiments should be respected.
The police intervention came as Congress workers attempted to set the effigy on fire during the protest. No injuries or arrests were immediately reported in connection with the demonstration.
The controversy surrounding Ranaut's remarks continues to draw political reactions, with the Congress demanding an apology while the BJP MP has defended her comments through her social media statement.
