Till now, five episodes of the web series were released. The 10-part web series was directed by Umesh Shukla of OMG: Oh My God fame. Earlier this month, the EC banned the release of the film based on PM Modi, a day before its release. A Congress activist filed a petition calling it beneficial for the ruling party right around campaigning.

The EC had said, “Any biopic material in the nature of biography/hagiography sub-serving the purposes of any political entity or individual connected to it, which is intended to, or which has the potential to disturb the level playing field during the elections, should not be displayed in the electronic media including cinematograph during the operation of MCC.” In the movie, Vivek Oberoi was portraying the role of the Prime Minister.

The poll panel on March 10 had announced the dates of the Lok Sabha elections 2019. The parliamentary polls are taking place in seven phases. The first two phases of polling took place on April 11 and April 11. Meanwhile, the remaining five phases will take place on April 23, 29, May 6, 12 and 19. The counting of votes will take place on May 23. Immediately after dates were announced, the Model Code of Conduct has come into force.
