Lucknow, May 23: The results of the Ghaziabad Lok Sabha Constituency will be declared today. The counting of votes began on the Parliamentary seat in Uttar Pradesh at 8 AM on Thursday, May 23. Voting took place for the Ghaziabad seat in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections on April 11. Ghaziabad constituency is one of the eighty Lok Sabha constituencies in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Ghaziabad is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is sometimes referred to as the "Gateway of UP" because it is close to New Delhi, on the main route into Uttar Pradesh. It is a part of the National Capital Region of Delhi. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, General VK Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the seat and became an MP for the first time. Raj Babbar of the Congress party was the first runner-up from the seat.
