Bhopal, December 11:┬аThe results for Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections 2018 will be declared today. The counting of votes has begun in MP as well as four other states that went to polls in November and December. We are bringing you updates on the results for six┬аMP Vidhan Sabha constituencies - Harsud (ST), Khandwa (SC), Pandhana, Nepanagar (ST), Burhanpur, Bhikangaon. Voting for the┬аMP Assembly polls┬аwas held on November 28 in a single phase. The exit polls have not been able to predict a clear picture of whether the BJP or the Congress would win the state. Harsud (ST) Assembly Seat
The Harsud seat has been a BJP-ruled seat.┬аKunwar Vijay Shah┬аof the BJP has been winning this seat every time since 1993 and has been fielded by the party this election as well. Shah is up against┬аSukhram Salve┬аof the Congress and┬аVijay Singh S/O Ram Singh Uikey┬аof BSP.
Khandwa (SC) Assembly Seat
The Khandwa seat has been with the BJP since 1990. The previous two elections on this seat were won by┬аDevendra Verma┬аof the BJP, who is also the party's candidate this election. Verma is up against┬аKundan Malviya┬аof the Congress and┬аSampat Pachore┬аof the BSP.
Pandhana Assembly Seat
The Pandhana seat has been a BJP seat since 2003. In 2013,┬аYogita Navalsing Borker of the BJP had won this seat. This year, the BJP has fielded┬аRam Dangore, who is up against┬аChhaya More┬аof the Congress and┬аBahadur Singh┬аof the BSP.
Nepanagar (ST) Assembly Seat
The Nepanagar seat has been a BJP seat since 2003. A bypoll was held on this seat in November 2016, which was won by┬аManju Rajendra Dadu┬аof the BJP. Dadu has against been fielded by the party this election, against┬аSumitra Devi Kasdekar┬аof the Congress and┬аAshok Totaram Marko┬аof the BSP.
Burhanpur Assembly Seat
The Burhanpur seat has been with the┬аArchana Chitnis┬аaka Archana Didi of the BJP since 2008. While she has won the previous two elections, the BJP has fielded her this election as well to take on┬аRavindra Suka Mahajan┬аof the Congress and┬аManoj Pawar┬аof the BSP.
Bhikangaon Assembly Seat
The Bhikangaon seat was won by┬аJhumabai Solanki┬аof the Congress who has been fielded by the Congress this election as well. The BJP, on the other hand, has fielded┬аDhool Singh Dawar, who won the polls on this seat in 2003 and 2008.
