Patna, May 10: Finally, the suspense over Lalu Prasad Yadav's parole has come to an end. The Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal Supremo has got three-days parole instead of the five days parole as reported earlier. The RJD Supremo has received the parole to attend the wedding of his elder son Tej Pratap Yadav. Lalu Prasad Yadav has been serving jail term in Birsa Munda Jail in Ranchi, Jharkhand, as he has been convicted in the Fodder Scam. 

In all possibilities, the RJD Supremo will reach Patna today evening. Reports claim that he had applied for a parole  of five-days which wasn't granted to him. However, he has been given a three-day parole. Lalu has been convicted in four out of the six cases against him in the infamous Bihar and Jharkhand Foddar Scam Case. Lalu has been in Jail since December 23, 2017.

Tej Pratap Yadav will marry Aishwarya Rai, the grand-daughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Prasad Rai, on May 12 at Patna veterinary college ground.

Earlier, the medical board of the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi had declared his condition as stable. RIMS superintendent R.K. Shrivastva had said that Lalu Prasad's health bulletin had said that his condition is normal and stable.

Meanwhile, the celebrations have begun and are on full swing in the Yadav family. The mehendi ceremony was celebrated on Wednesday evening, and the engagement ceremony was on April 18.
