New Delhi, September 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in New Delhi at the Palam airport on Saturday. The Prime Minister returned from the seven-day visit to the United States. PM Modi had embarked on a seven-day visit to the United States on Saturday, September 21. During his visit, PM Modi attended mega-event “Howdy, Modi” in Houston on September 22. He also addressed the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 27. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members gathered outside the Palam Airport to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday evening. Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari oversaw all the arrangements outside the airport and ensured that BJP workers get a chance to welcome the Prime Minister. In a major boost to India-US ties, US President Donald Trump joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a mega event in Houston on Sunday, called "Howdy, Modi!". The September 22 event was the first event when these two world leaders addressed a joint rally. The Prime Minister also spoke at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Friday and his speech was well received.
