According to exit poll results by CVoter - Republic TV, the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is predicted to win 48-60 seats of the 119 seats, Congress is predicted to win 47-59 seats, BJP is likely to win 5 seats, while other political parties are predicted to win 1-13 seats.

According to exit poll predictions by Republic Jan Ki Baat, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is likely to bag 52-65 seats, Congress and its alliances will win 38-52 seats, BJP is predicted to win 4-7 while the others are predicted to win 8-14 seats.

According to India Today-Axis Exit Poll Results, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is predicted to win 79-91 seats out of the 119 seats. The Congress is predicted to win 21-33 seats while BJP is predicted to win 1-3 seats.

The total voter turnout of Telangana, that went to polls today, will be announced shortly. Telangana was supposed to hold its assembly elections in May 2019 along with the Lok Sabha elections in the state, but CM K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), who heads the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), dissolved the assembly in September 2018. KCR's decision forced an early election in the state.

TRS president K Chandrashekar Rao expressed confidence that his party would come back to power in Telangana with a "huge majority". There is a "very, very positive" mood among voters towards the party, KCR told reporters at his native village Chintamadaka on Friday.

According to Times Now-CNX, the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is predicted to win 66 seats out of the 119 Assembly seats. The Congress and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is predicted to win 37 seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to win 9 seats while the other political parties in Telangana are likely to win 9 seats.

For the first time, the Election Commission is using Voters Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) in Telangana. As many as 1821 candidates, including a transgender, are in fray. Counting of votes would be taken up on December 11.

Polling in Telangana was held on December 7 in all 119 Assembly constituencies. According to reports, more than 2.80 crore electorate are eligible to cast their vote in the state, in a total of 32,815 polling stations. More than 1.50 lakh polling officials, including reserve staff, are on duty. In Telangana, the assembly polls were originally scheduled to be held simultaneously with the Lok Sabha polls next year. But, the Legislative Assembly was dissolved prematurely on September six following a recommendation made by the TRS government.
