Cannes Film festival has always been an event that has been looked forward to, with utter enthusiasm. While the Hollywood celebs have a huge fanbase owing to their red carpet appearances, the liking for Bollywood celebs is no less. Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor have been the veterans at this fest as the face of Loreal Paris. And now, the latest to join the bandwagon is Deepika Padukone. The dimpled beauty has been making heads turn with her gorgeous appearance on the red carpet for the past two years now. Here's the blast from the past, which made every other DP fan proud of her! Cannes 2019 Schedule for Indian Celebs: On Which Dates Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hina Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut Will Walk the Red Carpet.
Let us first remind that she made her debut at Cannes in 2010 in a complete Indian look. She wore a white and gold saree for her debut here which could not create a huge impact. However, her decision to go traditional abroad was liked by the admirers. The fashion police were quite disappointed with the chunky gold jewellery she used for her look. Her make-up too was a thumbs down. Check it out.

Rectifying this glaring mistake, she tried to be a bit more experimental with her look in 2017. After a gap of seven years, DP must definitely have gotten hold of what works wonders and hence she went by it. She wore a bottle green gown that was floor-length. She did not try much with her hair and just left it to a simple top knot bun. However, her eye game won her extra brownie points with them smokily smudged in Antique green hue. Her next look was a total stunner. She wore a purple Embellished Bodice Marchesa Gown and bared her legs through the sheer material. She left her hair loose and added a dash of bold lipstick.
2018 too was a wonderful year for the actress. She chose white and pink for her outing. The actress wore a beautiful sheer Zuhair Murad gown, with a plunging neckline. She styled hair in waves, flaunted emerald and diamond earrings. The rings that she wore were by Lorraine Schwartz. Her metallic heels were by Nicholas Kirkwood. Next what she wore blew away everyone's mind. The otherwise elegant DP turned wild with her sartorial imagination with a three-dimensional fuchsia pink gown from Ashi Studio’s spring-summer 2018 couture collection. She continued with the same accessories from the previous day and styled her hair in a bun. The smokey eye look did all the work.
This year too, the fans are waiting for her to dazzle on the red carpet just like these two years. We hope that DP makes the most of this gala event as she has always been on the radar of the fashion critics, across the globe. Stay tuned here for latest updates on the event.
