Sonali Bendre Behl arrived at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's wedding reception and looking like a million bucks in a lovely red Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ensemble. The actress, who is battling cancer, took a short break from her treatment and dove herself in some designer wear for the Ambani couple's wedding reception. This is her first appearance since she left for the States to cure her cancer. For her big first appearance, Sonali chose to keep it as chic and pretty as possible.
With a cute pixie haircut, the actress wore a stunning red Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ethnic suit with a defined collar. Not only did it accentuate her hairstyle but also made her look very elegant. The diva completed her look with mojdis from Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla's joint venture, Needle Dust. She was accompanied by husband Goldie Behl who chose to wear a simple but classy Chinese-collar sherwani. Bendre-Behl even shared her look on Instagram and captioned it, "Been a while since I got out of my track-pants." Well, we couldn't be more happy to see her so well and happy! Check out her look below.

Ahead of making her first appearance, Sonali had done an interview where she stated how the doctor told her she only had 30 per cent chances of survival. "I land in New York and the next day, we go to the doctor. He looks at everything and we had sent all our tests and he says, you know, it is the fourth stage and you have a 30% chance of survival. That really hit me; I just turned to Goldie and I remember saying: Thank God, you got me here’. Goldie always says that tomorrow I’d rather feel I over-reacted, over-spent than under-reacted and have that regret that I should have done that’. There was no time for it and we were not told that it was the fourth stage but Goldie had started reading about it and he was suspecting it."
We are over the moon to see her so upbeat and happy. She has been quite positive and headstrong when dealing with cancer. In fact, if you see her Instagram posts at all times, Sonali has only been spreading positive thoughts about embracing everything as part of life and standing tall in the face of adversity.
