In a strange medical case, a 4-year-old boy's watery eye turned out to be a sign of a rare type of cancer. The mother of this little child, Harri Cooke, thought that his watery eyes are due to a common cold or a case of conjunctivitis as per reports by Fox news. Further, as per reports, it is said that the boy's face began to swell last September and his mother got him tested and it was in the month of January that he was diagnosed by a rare type of bone or soft tissue cancer called Ewing’s sarcoma. This type of cancer of the bone of the arms, legs, hands, feet, pelvis, chest, skull and spine. Sometimes it can even occur in the bone of some other body part. Since the symptoms of this type of cancer aren't very unusual, it is very easy for anyone to mistake it with any other health issue. As per reports by Fox News, the symptoms didn't seem to bother the child so much, however, the doctors soon got into action and about 6 worried doctors turned up. The reports further had it that cancer had changed the structure around the boy's eye to change and 6 days after the diagnosis the treatment began. Carly Cooke, Harri Cooke’s mother told to Caters News Agency, 'It didn’t seem to bother him, he was so happy all of the time,' the mom further said, “But when his face began to swell we were referred from our GP (general practitioner) to an eye specialist. Once we arrived, six doctors turned up, and they all seemed really worried.” According to the reports, the child's cancer is now in remission. “The medication is so much harsher to children. Harri’s treatment means that he could have growth issues, teeth problems and is more likely to have cancer later in life.” Carly Cooke, told to Caters News Agency.
