The marine life under the water has a lot to offer. If you have done snorkelling or scuba diving you'd know the kind of beauty that exists under the ocean. But imagine having the same view next to you while you eat and sleep in your hotel suite. Well, you can with a new luxury hotel that's coming up in the crystal clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is building a two-storey hotel villa, 16.4 feet below the surface, taking luxury resort experience to a whole new level. Named as Muraka (coral) in the local language of Maldives, it wants the guests traveling here with "intimate and immersive experience of one of the Earth's most breathtaking marine environments." The resort will be complete by the end of this year.

This resort once made will be world's first undersea residence offering the most amazing experience of witnessing the marine environments in all privacy and to yourself! The resort guarantees luxury in the sense that it will have a gym, a bar, butler's quarters, an ocean-facing bathtub and the bedroom with the best view ever. The bedroom will have unparalleled views of the blue sea and it will definitely take away the blues you were feeling.

The upper level of the resort will be connected by a spiral staircase. The king-size bedroom suite, living area and the bathroom will be at the lower level. The top-level has a deck which faces the sunrise and there is also going to be an infinity pool. But well when you have an ocean facing around you, would you opt for a pool? The upper level has an area of 550 square meters and the lower level occupies 102 square meters. "We are excited to present Muraka's unique sleeping under the sea experience to our future guests, providing them with an extraordinary seascape of the Maldives from an entirely new perspective," says Conrad Maldives Rangali Island's general manager Stefano Ruzza. Muraka will guarantee a totally private experience as the place can accommodate just 9 guests.
