The twitter trend of #SareeTwitter has taken over on the microblogging site. Women are sharing their pictures wearing a saree along with the hashtag #SareeTwitter. In fact, since last night the trend has caught up so much that even the men have joined along sharing pictures of their family members or friends. The Mumbai Police Twitter account has joined along but in their own innovative way. Sharing a picture of a policeman, they have called the Khaki swag and started #KhakiTwitter, which symbolises the colour of the police uniform in the city. The #SareeTwitter trend has caught along and so many women are sharing their pictures in sarees, along with their memories of wearing the traditional attire. And Mumbai Police's social media account is known for its timely tweets on everything that is trending for the day. They brilliantly give across messages using movie dialogues or meme formats. This time, they replaced the Saree Twitter trend to appreciate the police force and their Khaki uniform, thus starting the #KhakiTwitter.
