The data submitted by Pornhub revealed that there was a weighty fall in their traffic on May 19 as compared to a regular standard Saturday. When the royal ceremony began, the worldwide traffic dropped by a 10 percent. United Kingdom dip was even higher with a decline of 21 percent during the wedding. Daily Mail further reported that there was a 17 percent drop in Pornhub traffic at around 5:00 pm on May 19. Well, it seems that the royal wedding 2018 was a cue to all of us that somewhere deep down we are all enjoy witness a love affair more than anything.

Soon after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchanged their vows and was pronounced as a husband and wife, searches for Meghan Markle rise steeply reaching as high as 2,812 percent on May 21. But spelling is quite a task for porn watchers! Pornhub further revealed that only one out of four people would spell Meghan Markle’s name correctly while many searched for ‘Megan Markle’. On the other hand, searches with the term ‘royal’ went up by 1,865 percent in the days following the royal wedding.
