Popular YouTuber McSkillet died in a car crash while driving his car at a speed of 100 kph. The accident occurred at a California highway near San Diego also killed a mother and daughter. Trevor Heitmann who called himself McSkillet is best known for playing Counter-Strike and designing and selling custom content online. He was driving 2015 McLaren 650S, a sports car which costs almost Rs 1.8 crore on the wrong side of a motorway when he collided with a car driven by a woman. California Highway Patrol confirmed the car accident took place on Thursday around 4:30 p.m.

According to BBC, a 43-year-old Aileen and her daughter 12-year-old Aryana Pizarro were present in the SUV that Heitman collided with. While the McLaren was destroyed due to the accident, the 2010 Hyundai of Pizarro burst into flames. Pictures of the accident being shared on social media shows burned pieces of metals and charred items on a highway.

Heitmann had nearly a million followers on YouTube however he has not uploaded any video since the past five months. He had made a skin gambling website called Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) that customised guns and knives in the first-person shooter video game. Heitmann was known online as 'the King of Skins'. The YouTuber was later banned from an online marketplace for his involvement in it. He had allegedly been suffering from mental health issues.

He was banned after the game's owner Valve earlier this year over a crackdown on gambling involving custom content. He thus lost out on money and pour in of thousands of dollars stopped. Heitman's friends also stated that he has been struggling with mental health. Officials said they are investigating the crash.
