Rohit Bal passed away on Friday night (November 1) at a south Delhi hospital following prolonged illness, at the age of 63. His last public appearance was just last month at the Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI 2024 grand finale, marking his grand return to the ramp with his collection ‘Kaaynaat: A Bloom in the Universe’, after experiencing cardiac arrest in December 2023. Ananya Panday, who had the honor of walking the ramp for the iconic designer at the LFW grand finale, paid a heartfelt tribute in mourning his passing. She shared a memorable photo of him from the event and expressed her condolences with the words, “Gudda, Om Shanti”.
