While promoting season 2 of her ZEE5 show, The Broken News, Sonali Bendre spoke out about her negative experiences with body image in the 1990s film industry. In an interview with Hauterrfly, Bendre revealed that producers frequently pressured her to gain weight. "Every producer was trying to fatten me up all the time. They would just tell me to ‘eat eat eat bahut patli hai (she is too thin).
