Vir Das Requests Government to Give Permission to Organise Comedy, Music, Theatre Events
Vir Das earlier posted a witty note on Instagram that observes how the Covid pandemic and lockdown have brought out certain good things in us, too. He shared the note with an emoji of crossed fingers as caption, denoting optimism. The post had garnered over 47,340 likes on the social media platform within an hour of Vir dropping it.
Vir Das took to Twitter to share an important message. He said that since the government is considering opening restaurants, cinema halls and other such places, they should also give permission to stand up comedians and other such artists to organise events.
