Teaming up with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), the donation will enable the acquisition of 1,500 metric tons of fortified wheat flour, resulting in the provision of 18 million loaves of bread, ultimately benefiting over 157,000 Palestinians.
Hats off to Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, for his unwavering support of humanitarian efforts in Gaza. According to Pop Faction, The Weeknd pledged to donate $2 million relief fund to over 157,000 Palestinians facing the threat of famine. By allocating resources to procure more than 1,500 metric tons of fortified wheat flour, he ensures sustenance for countless families, equating to over 18 million loaves of bread for a month. Corinne Fleischer, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) said, The Weeknd's generosity is a significant intervention in the ongoing battle against hunger.
