Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has been admitted to Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi due to a viral respiratory infection. The 64-year-old actor experienced high fever, difficulty breathing and body aches (myalgia). Reportedly, following the completion of his film shoots for L2: Empuraan and the post-production of his directorial debut Barroz, Mohanlal returned to Kochi where his condition worsened.
