Varalaxmi Sarathkumar shared an official statement on X (formally known as Twitter) and clarified that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) didn't summon her to record her statement about her former associate related to a Drug case. In the press note, she mentioned that she has not been in contact with her formerĀ freelance manager Mr Adilingam. The Case:Ā
On August 18, NIA officials seized 300 kg of heroin worth Rs 2,100 crore, along with AK 47, from Vizhinjam beach shore in Kerala. The agency has registered a case againstĀ otherĀ individuals, including Varalaxmiās former assistant.
