The Bengaluru Police have initiated action following a viral video showing two officers arguing while an injured man lay on the road bleeding. The video, widely circulated on social media, captures the incident on July 15 on Triveni Road in Yeshwanthpur. The injured man, a victim of a self-skid accident, was eventually transported to the hospital in a private vehicle as the officers from the Traffic Police and Law and Order department debated whose vehicle should be used. The Bengaluru North Deputy Commissioner of Police has launched an inquiry into the conduct of the Hoysala staff involved. A statement from the DCP's office confirmed that traffic personnel attended the scene and called an ambulance, and that an FIR has been lodged. The victim is currently recovering in the hospital.
