New Delhi, January 4: A 50-year-old man died by suicide after jumping from the 12th floor of the Le Meridien hotel in Connaught Place on Sunday afternoon. The deceased, identified as Parvinder Singh Juneja, was a resident of Lajpat Nagar. The incident occurred around 12:30 PM when Juneja reportedly took a lift to the 12th-floor restaurant and leaped from the building. Delhi Police and forensic teams arrived shortly after to secure the area. Preliminary findings indicate that Juneja had previously stayed at the hotel during the Christmas period. He returned on Sunday as a visitor before taking the extreme step. While an investigation is underway, officials have yet to determine a motive, as no suicide note was recovered.
