An Indian Air Force vehicle convoy was attacked by terrorists in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, May 4, 2024. The local Rashtriya Rifles unit has initiated the cordon and search operations in the area and the vehicles have been secured inside the air base in the General area near Shahsitar. According to the Air Force, five IAF personnel were injured in the attack and are receiving medical treatment. The Indian Air Force Garud Special Forces have been positioned in the area of the attack.
