The biggest media houses in India will aim to earn the right to broadcast IPL on their platform as IPL Media Rights Auction 2022 gets underway in Mumbai.
The IPL media rights E-Auction is now underway in Mumbai on June 12, 2022 (Sunday). The biggest media houses in the country will be looking to earn the right to broadcast India's premier cricket league on their platform. The winner among the current bidders will be able to broadcast IPL for a five-year deal between 2023-2027.

Package A, i.e TV rights, with a base price of Rs 49 crores per match for 74 matches, and Package B- Digital rights with a base price of Rs 33 crores will begin the auction
