A 20-year-old youth from Hospet in Karnataka was taken into preventive custody for uploading his WhatsApp status "in support" of Palestine. The man, identified as Aslam Basha, uploaded pro-Palestine slogan in his WhatsApp status, which were allegedly provocative. The youth will be produced before executive magistrate according to local media reports. Over 2,500 people have been killed so far in an armed conflict that broke out between Israel and Hamas group on October 7.
