On Saturday afternoon, panic arose in Nainital's Mallital Avagarh complex area as a two-story building at Chatan Lodge fell like a pack of cards, causing damage to two nearby structures, although no injuries were reported. After the building fell, more than a dozen structures on a hill were put at risk, necessitating the quick evacuation of occupants from the dangerous location.
