Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) also known as Lumpy virus, has claimed the lives of 5,800 cattle across 16 districts of Rajasthan, with more than 1 lakh 20 thousand cattle mostly cows infected so far.

Cattles of 16 districts were found infected with lumpy skin disease.  More than 5,800 cattle died so far in the state due to this disease. Animal Husbandry Department data says, more than 1 lakh 20 thousand cattle mostly cows infected so far, said All India Radio News said in a tweet.
