Both riders lost balance, fell, and were crushed under the vehicle's wheels, dying instantly. The bus driver fled the scene with the vehicle, triggering a police manhunt. Authorities cleared the resulting traffic congestion and have placed the bodies in the district hospital mortuary for post-mortem.
