At least 23 Army officers are missing and bodies of three civilians have been recovered after flash flood in the Teesta river in Sikkim's Lachen Valley.
Seven people have been rescued from Sikkim's Singtam area after a flash flood hit the region triggered by a cloudburst. One of the NDRF teams has been deployed in Gangtok, while two additional teams have been dispatched to the surrounding areas experiencing flood-like conditions.
