A venomous snake allegedly bit Punjab Education Minister and AAP leader Harjot Singh Bains during the flood rescue operation in the state. The Aam Aadmi Party leader took to Twitter, aka X, to update his followers about his health. In his post, the state education minister said that during rescue operations, he was bitten by a venomous snake on the intervening night of August 15. However, Bains said the incident did not deter his determination to help people. "With God's grace, the flood situation in my constituency, Shri Anandpur Sahib, is better now," he said. The AAP leader also said that he is doing well now. I Was Bitten by a Venomous Snake

During the rescue operations, I was bitten by a venomous snake on the intervening night of 15th Aug, but that didn’t deter my determination to help my people.
