Sharing the incident on X, she wrote: "While travelling from Pune to Mumbai today I had an awful experience on the highway when vehicle GJ13CF5257 rammed into my car from the side due to reckless driving." Crediting her seatbelt for her safety, she said: "It's not just about how you drive - reckless driving by others can also put lives at risk. Fortunately, I was wearing a seatbelt and we are all completely safe." Sule urged people to drive responsibly, adding that overspeeding and negligence endanger countless lives. The incident holds personal resonance - her friend, former Tata Group chairman Cyrus Mistry, died in a car accident in September 2022, prompting Sule to consistently champion road safety awareness.
