Russian President Vladimir Putin has backed India's presence at the UNSC as a permanent member and showered heaps of praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "India is becoming more powerful with each passing year under the leadership of PM Modi," Vladimir Putin said while speaking at an event in Russia on Thursday, October 5. "We should adapt international law to current needs and changing global situations. Countries like India with its 1.5 billion people and over 7% GDP growth, deserve representation and have an opportunity to contribute in resolving international issues" he added.
