The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday, December 17, said that dense to very dense fog conditions are very likely to continue to prevail during early hours/morning hours at a few places over Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana between December 18 and 22 and at isolated pockets of Uttarakhand between December 18-21. The weather agency also said that isolated dense fog conditions are likely over Northeast India between December 18-22, and in Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar and Jharkhand from December 18 to 20. That said, IMD also said that cold wave conditions are very likely to prevail over West Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand on December 18 and 19. It has also predicted dry weather in Mumbai, Thane and Palghar districts of Maharashtra till December 21. Meanwhile, the weather forecasting service Windy has predicted no rainfall in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru for today, December 18.
