Alma Cooper from Michigan, a US Army officer, was crowned Miss USA. She became the third person to hold the title this year after the unexpected resignation of the 2023 winner. Alma, who is 22 years old and has a Master's degree in data science from Stanford University, won the competition by beating 50 other contestants in events like evening gown presentations and swimwear. Connor Perry from Kentucky and Danika Christopherson from Oklahoma were named first and second runners-up, respectively.
