India's Aditi Kumari, Neha Win Gold Medals in 43 Kg and 57 Kg Wrestling Events at U17 World Championship 2024
The two wrestlers put up comprehensive performances in the final of the 57kg and 43kg events to win the top prize on offer. Earlier, India's campaign at the competition in the Greco-Roman category ended with two bronze medals.
Wrestlers Aditi Kumari and Neha won gold medals at the U17 World Wrestling Championship 2024 on August 22, held in Amman, Jordan. Neha outclassed Japan's So Tsusui by technical superiority 10-0 in the final of the freestyle 57kg event to win the gold medal, while Aditi Kumari got the better of Maria Louiza Gkika in the 43kg final.
