Ashok Finishes Sixth in Men’s 65 Kg Powerlifting Event at Paris Paralympics 2024, Fails to Lift Third Attempt

After a strong start to the event, Ashok recorded 199 Kg as his best effort at the Paris Paralympics. He finished sixth in the Men’s 65 Kg Powerlifting Event at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

One of the top candidates for the medal in the powerlifting category, Ashok failed to lift his third attempt and finished with 199 as his best effort at the Paris Paralympics 2024 Men’s 65 Kg Powerlifting event. The athlete started well with a 197 Kg lift and bettered the weight with a 199 Kg lift. But to win a medal Ashok went for 200+ Kg weight and failed to hold on to the same.
